“SYDNEY (New South Wales) - An attraction”

When you hear the word ‘AUSTRALIA’, the first thought which would come into our mind is ‘SYDNEY’. Well yes, it is one of the multicultural, cosmopolitan expensive city which is vibrant, colorful, cheerful and full of life. It has something or the other happening in its core for people to have fun about.

I visited Sydney in December 2015. This place has a beauty of its own. Though it has all the tall modern buildings standing out there, it also has a blend of small roads and brick buildings that the British left behind.

As a tourist, I started by exploring the city. I didn’t have too many days in Sydney and hence, I took the Hop on Hop off bus which took me all over the city and covered the main attractions like Sydney Harbour Bridge, The famous Opera House, Darling Harbour, Queen Victoria Building, Paddy’s Markets, Sealife Aquarium, Powerhouse Museum, etc. I also visited beaches like Bondi Beach, Bronte Beach and Manly beach. Manly beach is just a ferry ride away from Circular Quay in Sydney CBD. (Trust me, its fun!). There are loads of other lookouts. To name a few like Tauranga zoo, Watson’s Bay, Kiama, Le Perouse.

Once I was done with the city, I took a train to Katoomba to visit the FAMOUS BLUE MOUNTAINS (YES, Sydney has a well-connected transport system- Make sure you grab an OPAL Card for yourself). My trip would be incomplete without seeing the 3-sister’s lookout. The scenic beauty at the Blue Mountains was breathtaking.
My trip doesn’t end here. I also got to experience the NEW YEAR FIREWORKS at Barangaroo. There were spectacular and worth watching being right next to Sydney Harbour.
