Snigdha TiwariIt’s a 7-hour drive from Hyderabad. So I would suggest that book your stay in the Kurnool district. From Kurnool, it is just 3 hr 30 min (155.3 km) via Jammalamadugu – Banaganapalli Rd that you can cover nearby places as well such as Belum caves and Tadipatri temple.
Gandikota is known as the grand canyon of India. Amazing view from the top of the mountains. Don’t forget to take a DSLR camera for better and best pics.
Please take a lot of water bottles with you and snacks, because it is a remote area so you can’t get food and water easily. You can take a tent also there and stay one night there and enjoy a sunset view.
After completing Gandikota, take a route to Bellum caves. Before entering into cave please take off your jackets and heavy clothes because inside there is so much humidity that you sweat like you are taking a shower
