Goa is one of the most popular destinations everyone wants to go to at least once in a lifetime, especially popular among youngsters. It is famous for Beaches, Nightlife, Cruises, Waterfalls, Forts, Churches, Seafood and many more things.
One of the most famous forts is “Chapora Fort”. Chapora Fort, located in Bardez, Goa, rises high above the Chapora River. Before the Portuguese arrived in Goa in 1510, this location was the site of another fort. The fort changed hands several times after the Portuguese acquired Bardez. Trying to end the Portuguese rule in Goa, Prince Akbar joined his father’s enemies, the Marathas in 1683 and made this place his base camp. It became the northern outpost of the old conquests. After the Portuguese recovered from an encounter, it became famous because of “Dil Chahta Hai”, one of the ancient fort of Goa. If you are going to Goa with friends then must visit the place and don’t forget to take a picture in the “Dil Chahta Hai” pose. The sunset view from the fort is a view to die for, such a peaceful atmosphere.
Beaches are the first attraction place in Goa. There are many beaches in Goa. Among them, Calangute Beach, Baga Beach, Anjuna Beach, Candolim Beach, Colva Beach, and Arambol Beach are the famous ones. The best thing about the beach is to see the sunset.
That view is just beautiful when you will see how the sky changes its color from blue to different shades of orange to the black stary sky with the moon.
But if you want to go to the beach at night then Calangute or Baga Beach will be the best one. My personal experience with Baga Beach is the best.
